Hon. Anamero Dekeri Commiserates with Family of Late Chief George Ehabor, Former Okumagbe of Wanno

The Honourable Member representing Etsako Federal Constituency, Hon. Anamero Dekeri, paid a condolence visit to the palace of HRH, the late Chief George Ehabor, former Okumagbe of Wanno, to commiserate with the family over his demise.

Hon. Dekeri was received by the wife of the late monarch and his first son, Prince Joe, during the visit. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the royal family, describing the late Chief George Ehabor as a respected traditional leader whose reign and personal conduct contributed positively to the peace and unity of his community.

The Honourable Member acknowledged the significant role traditional institutions play in community development and cohesion, noting that the passing of such a revered figure is a great loss to Wanno and the wider Etsako community.

Hon. Dekeri prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed monarch and for strength and comfort for the family during this period of mourning.

May the soul of late Chief George Ehabor rest in peace.
