A PRESS BRIEFING BY HON. ANAMERO SUNDAY DEKERI, MEMBER REPRESENTING ETSAKO FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AT THE 10TH NATIONAL ASSEMBLY AND ASPIRANT FOR THE APC TICKET IN THE EDO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION 2024
Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed members of the press, fellow citizens of Edo State, and distinguished guests,
Thank you for joining me today as I stand before you with a sense of purpose and determination.
My name is Honourable Anamero Dekeri, and I am honoured to declare my sincere interest in seeking the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the Edo 2024 gubernatorial election.
I represent the good people of Etsako Federal constituency in the 10th National Assembly, I am also known as DANCO, a leader dedicated to public service and community development. My journey has been defined by transparency, inclusivity, and results-driven governance. As a lawyer by education, a philanthropist par excellence, and an advocate for our great nation Nigeria, I am committed to the Edo-Project and the well-being of my constituents.
Throughout my career, I have championed education, economic empowerment, and social justice. My leadership style is dynamic, focusing on the needs of the people and ensuring that every policy decision aligns with the principles of fairness, justice, and equity.
My vision for Edo State is one of progress, prosperity, and pride. I aspire to create an environment where every child has access to quality education, the youth are equipped with skills for the future, and our industries flourish, generating employment and driving economic growth. Together, we can build an Edo State that exemplifies good governance with the welfare of the people at the forefront of every decision.
I am committed to transparent and accountable leadership, prioritizing the needs of the people. We will work together to eradicate corruption, create a conducive business environment, and ensure that the benefits of democracy reach every corner of our beloved state.
Edo State is a diverse tapestry of cultures, and I embrace this diversity as a source of strength. My administration will foster unity, building bridges, and creating an atmosphere where every citizen feels a sense of belonging and contributes to the collective progress of Edo State.
I have a track record of service, having initiated projects such as rural electrification, annual donations of educational materials to schools across the State, periodic distributions of wheelchairs to people living with disabilities, relief efforts for flood victims, road projects, borehole installations, Just to mention a few.
These are tangible results that speak to my commitment to improving the lives of the people I serve.
To the distinguished members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress. I implore you to exercise your power with discernment and foresight in deciding who will carry our party’s flag. The future of our party and Edo State is in your hands, and I trust that you will make a decision that will shape the destiny of our beloved state positively.
In conclusion. Ladies and gentlemen, I stand before you not just as an individual seeking political office but as a servant-leader ready to embark on a journey of service, sacrifice, and success. I humbly request your support and partnership as we collectively work towards a brighter, more prosperous future for Edo State.
