Eid al-Adha 2026: Hon. Anamero Calls for Unity, Sacrifice and Compassion
Hon. Anamero Dekeri extends Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslims and calls for peace, sacrifice, and collective commitment to community development.
The people of Igbirra Camp in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area, can now celebrate a new dawn of access to clean and reliable water as the Solar Borehole Project initiated by Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri has been fully completed.
This landmark project is part of Hon. Anamero’s commitment to addressing fundamental needs within Etsako Federal Constituency, ensuring that every community has access to safe and sustainable water.
The solar-powered borehole provides a dependable and eco-friendly solution to the long-standing water scarcity in Igbirra Camp. With solar technology powering the system, the project is both sustainable and cost-effective, designed to serve the community for years to come with minimal maintenance requirements.
Before the project, residents of Igbirra Camp struggled daily to access clean water, often relying on distant or unsafe sources. With the completion of this borehole, families now have clean water within reach for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and other domestic needs.
This project also supports economic and social growth, as time once spent searching for water can now be redirected to education, farming, and small businesses.
Speaking during the inspection of the completed project, Hon. Anamero expressed his satisfaction at the timely completion of the borehole and reaffirmed his dedication to providing basic amenities that improve the lives of his constituents. He emphasized that access to water is a fundamental right and pledged to replicate similar interventions across other underserved communities.
The Igbirra Camp solar borehole is just one of many ongoing constituency projects across Etsako East, West, and Central LGAs, including classroom blocks, healthcare facilities, solar streetlights, and empowerment programs—all aimed at uplifting the standard of living in the constituency.
