The National Association of Okpella Students (NAOS) has officially announced the launch of the first-ever Okpella Education Awareness Tour 2025—a visionary initiative aimed at revitalizing educational values and empowering the youth of Okpella.
This historic tour is made possible through the sponsorship and support of Hon. Dekeri Anamero (DANCO), a strong advocate for youth development and quality education. Themed “Education for All: Empowering Every Child, Inspiring Every Gender,” the campaign focuses on restoring the spirit of learning in rural communities.
The 4-day tour, scheduled to hold from July 1 to July 4, 2025, will engage key communities across Okpella:
Day 1: Afokpella Town Hall – July 1
Day 2: Awuyemi Town Hall – July 2
Day 3: Iddo Town Hall – July 3
Day 4: Ogute Town Hall – July 4
According to Comrade Covenant O. Samuel, the NAOS President and convener of the initiative, the tour aims to “reignite the flame of education and restore purpose in our rural communities.” She further extended deep appreciation to Hon. Anamero for supporting the mission and making it possible.
This campaign represents a new chapter for Okpella’s future—one driven by knowledge, inclusion, and hope.
