I Sympathize with Families Of Okpella Accident Victims.

It’s A Day That We Live in Infamy And Acerbity.

With a heavy heart filled with pains and agony, l sympathize with the people of Okpella, the families of the accident victims, the market women, Etsako traders, NURTW and the Okada Riders who may have either lost their lives or injured as a result of the accident.

The exact numbers of death toll are yet to be ascertained at the moment of filing this press release, but available reports suggests that no fewer than 10 persons may have been killed while several others injured by the rudderless truck trailer descending the hill with failing break system.

Today is Ewo market day in Okpella where traders across Etsako engages in buying and selling, it is devastating to imagine the level of damages this accident may have caused both lives and properties.

I thank Okpella Youths, the security agencies- police, the road safety, army, civil defence for their timely rescue operations while investigations into the matter continues.

May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, amen.
